AIRLINE DISCOUNTS

Delta Airlines is offering up to a 10 percent discount for Gain Conference attendees flying into LaGuardia (LGA), John F. Kennedy (JFK) and Newark Liberty (EWR) airports. When making your reservations online, select “Book a Trip,” then “More Search Options” and enter meeting code NMH9U in the appropriate box. Discounts are also available by calling Delta Meeting Reservations at 800 328 1111. However, please note that there is a ticketing fee for all reservations made over the phone.

GETTING TO "GAIN"

There are several ways to get to “Gain” from the three nearest airports: LaGuardia Airport (LGA), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

Taxi
LGA: $35 plus toll; JFK: $52 flat rate plus toll; EWR: $60–$75 plus toll and surcharge from the airport

AirTrain
Available only from JFK ($7.50—includes $2.50 subway fare) and EWR ($12.50–through New Jersey Transit)

Bus/subway
From LGA ($2.50 one-way ticket cost)

GETTING AROUND NEW YORK CITY

The Marriott Marquis is located in the heart of Times Square in midtown Manhattan. Taxis are readily accessible most hours of the day and night; however, the subway is often a quicker and less expensive way to explore the city.

The closest subway stop to the Marriott is the N, Q, R line at 49th Street and 7th  Avenue. Other nearby stops include the B, D, F, M line at 47th Street/Rockefeller Center; the 1, 2, 3, 7, S lines at 42nd Street/Times Square; and the A, C, E line at 42nd Street/Port Authority Bus Terminal.
